LMG / LMF SERIES

The LMG Series of multi-contact circular connectors from Weald Electronics are manufactured to BS 9522 F0014. Based on either brass (coarse thread) or aluminium (fine thread) shells, they are environmentally sealed to IP67 and come as standard with 2 to 26 solder contacts in up to 19 contact arrangements. We can provide other contact layouts on request. We offer RoHS compliant finishes and many accessories including 360⁰ braid trap termination and PG-type backshells.

LMG / LMF SERIES

The Weald LMF Series multi-contact circular connectors are suitable for use in exposed environments. For lightweight use, LMF connectors come housed in aluminium shells with fine thread couplings while, for more heavy duty requirements, they come in brass shells with a coarse thread. Both types are IP67 rated. We can also supply bulkhead style LMF connectors and thermocouple contacts as well as a clean finish brass version commonly used in the nuclear, petrochemical and mining industry.

LMG HEAVY DUTY SERIES

LMG Heavy Duty circular connectors from Weald Electronics are designed for use in harsh or hazardous environments where high resistance to vibration and the ingress of liquids, together with a very rugged construction, are key priorities. Built around a heavy duty brass shell, LMG  circular connectors are environmentally sealed from IP67 to IP69K and can come as standard with 2 to 26 contacts in 19 contact arrangements although Weald can provide other contact layouts on request. Two connector types are available – threaded coupling and staple coupling.

LMH MIL-DTL-26482 POWER SERIES

Weald Electronics LMH range of Bayonet Coupling Power Connectors are designed to perform to the requirements of MIL-C-26482. As a result these are ideal for high power applications across all types of difficult environments. We hold a significant stock of popular models for immediate delivery as well as a huge inventory of shell styles, contacts and accessories for assembly to order on very short lead times.

LMJ MIL-DTL-5015 SERIES

Weald’s LMJ Series are high reliability, cost competitive screw coupling circular connectors that meet the requirements of MIL-C-5015. Fully approved for use in military and transportation applications, the IP67 rated LMJ range comes with aluminium alloy shells in 13 sizes and five contact sizes, a threaded coupling, a neoprene insert and can be supplied with between 1 and 104 solder bucket or crimp contacts.

LMV MAINS POWER SERIES

The LMV mains voltage AC power circular connector from Weald Electronics is manufactured to IEQC-CECC spec BS/CECC 75201-004. This includes the safety requirements of BS EN 60950 for use in mains applications and CE marked assemblies. Featuring a brass shell, the LMV range can be supplied in various finishes and shell styles and the two available shell sizes are suitable for direct connection in mains applications. The shells are earthed and the connectors feature finger proof and leading earth contacts.

MG MIL-DTL-5015 SERIES

MG Range of reverse bayonet coupling connectors, intermateable with VG95234 and Pattern 121B. These Weald Electronics connectors are an ideal cost-effective option for applications requiring reliability in harsh environments, such as: mass transit, rail and military ground vehicles.

SM / SMA SERIES

Weald’s SM/SMA plastic bodied connectors are designed to suit a variety of applications where space is at a premium. Typical uses include test and measurement, laboratory equipment, portable products, instrumentation and a wide range of applications in schools, colleges, universities and teaching establishments. Either plug or socket can be mounted to chassis or bulkhead.

SMC SERIES

The Weald SMC Series are plastic bodied circular connectors designed to suit a variety of applications where space is at a premium. Typical applications include test and measurement, laboratory equipment, portable products, instrumentation as well as many uses in schools, colleges, universities and teaching establishments. These 3 contact SMC Series connectors come in black and white moulded housings.

BA SERIES

Weald BA connectors are high reliability, robust, high voltage connectors designed for use where space is at a premium in power, control and communications circuits in aircraft, portable equipment and instrumentation applications. BA Series connectors feature an extremely compact, lightweight plug and socket with a contact current rating up to 13A. The connectors are available with either 7 or 15 contacts.

D2 SERIES

Weald’s D2 Miniature 2-Pole Connectors can be stacked together to form a polarized multi-contact connector that exactly fits the application. The basic unit can be supplied as a double-contact plug, a double-contact socket, or as a connector unit with one pin and one socket. locating pips on the mouldings prevent the stacked units from twisting. Contact current rating is 5A.

EDGE CARD CONNECTORS

Edge card connectors designed for applications requiring two or more pcb’s to be connected and readily removed.
 
These modular board to board edge connectors are intermateable with other 0.100in (2.54mm) pitch connectors and can be supplied with fixed or replaceable contacts and cut to any size from 4 to 170 contacts double sided. Weald manufactures and assembles these on-site so lead times for these sought after connectors are generally very short.

MICRONECTOR 300

Micronector 300 connectors from Weald Electronics are high density, three row 2mm pitch connectors which are ideal for board-to-board or cable-to-cable applications where high resistance to vibration and extreme reliability are paramount. A male panel-mount variant is available. We can assemble in 27, 51 and 78 way sizes with male straight pc, 90º pc and crimp terminations.
